Being mythology part of our oldest cultural influence, it can sometimes keep quite hidden although in fact it’s still present in variuos ways, and it’s something that interests me.

According to Greek mythology the naiads were the nymphs of the bodies of fresh water, such as fountains, rivers, wells, etc. They embodied the divinity of the water course they inhabited. Its essence was linked to its body of water, so that if it dried up she would die.
